October in Maine....

I've just returned from a most glorious week in Maine...

My entire family flew over from England and we stayed at my husband's family home...

I always love it up there, surrounded by nature and water and listening to the birds singing high up in the trees...

It allowed the perfect opportunity to wear my newest Verity Hope Dress in a beautiful mauve colour...

I hand dyed a select few dresses in contrasting hues for the Autumn...

The drive up from New Hampshire allowed us the view of the changing autumn leaves in all their finest autumnal glory...

I love the in between seasons the best.  Spring for it's emergence of new life in the plants and Autumn for the changing leaves and cosiness...
